About Us

Premium Microfinance Bank

Premium Microfinance Bank Limited was incorporated as a wholly indigenous limited liability company on 8th day of January 2008, upon the grant of an approval-in-principle by the Central Bank of Nigeria on the 30th of July 2006. The bank got its final approval to operate as a microfinance bank on the 13th day of March 2008 with an authorized share capital of N50 Million divided into 50 million ordinary shares of N1.00 each. The authorized share capital is billed to be increased immediately to N250 Million to accommodate the expected stake holder of the bank.

The bank is the brain child of some distinguished and seasoned professionals whose aim is geared towards empowering the lower class or the active poor, who previously were without access to financial services.  However our aim is not streamlined to bridging the gap alone or in money making but also to give them loans at a very competitive interest rate thereby empowering them.

Premium Microfinance Bank Limited recognizes the importance of partnering with our clients not just to give loans but giving them technical assistance and training them to ensure that they succeed in the venture they are going into. In Premium Micro finance Bank Limited we believe that banking is based on trust, integrity and allegiance: we demonstrate these in all aspects of our operations as will be evident in your relationship with our bank.
